Film by the Sea is the fourth film festival in the Netherlands and one of the most important cultural events in Zeeland every year. Here, a wide audience can enjoy over 100 films from all corners of the world, about a third of which are home-grown imports. Not only book adaptations and French-language films, but also Zeeland films and documentaries receive a lot of attention. Film by the Sea attracts around 40,000 visitors.
